Pricing

DaDesktop gives you four payment options:

1. Public cloud (from 3 EUR a day)
2. Private server (from 10 EUR a day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (from 0.1 EUR a day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Pricing is daily, starting from 3 EUR for a basic Linux desktop config with 8 GB RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50 GB SSD storage.

Each additional set of 8 GB RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50 GB storage costs 3 EUR more.

Windows desktops add 1 EUR per day. If you have your own licence, this extra charge is waived.

NB: The daily rate applies within a 24-hour window beginning at midnight, local server time.

 

Private Server

If you want a predictable cost regardless of how many desktops you run or the resources you assign, you can buy an entire server.

In that case, you're only limited by the server’s hardware — not by units or desktop count.

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are available for resellers and high‑volume purchases.

This typically suits companies planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with their own product
2. Resell it
3. Buy in large quantities
    

On-premise

The standard price for an on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

 

Public Cloud Case Scenarios

Case 1

Someone uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8 GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50 GB storage for 8 hours in one day.

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

A person uses the same Ubuntu spec for a couple of hours each day over five days.

Total price: 5 days × 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. A person uses an Ubuntu desktop (8 GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50 GB storage) for 1 hour.
2. The desktop is deleted.
3. Another desktop with the same configuration is created on the same day and used for 1 hour.

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. A person uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop (8 GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50 GB storage) for 1 hour.
2. The desktop is deleted.
3. Another desktop with 16 GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100 GB storage is spun up on the same day and used for 1 hour.

Two different machines were used, with different configurations:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

Case 5

1. A person uses an Ubuntu course desktop (8 GB RAM, 8 CPUs, 50 GB storage) for 1 hour.
2. The desktop is deleted.
3. On the same day, the same participant or trainer creates another desktop with 16 GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100 GB storage and uses it for 1 hour.

Total price: 6 EUR

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on the users who create desktops during the course.

Trainers

• If a Trainer is invited to the course, the Organization Owner is billed.
• If the Trainer creates the course, they are billed for it.

• To summarize, the Organization Owner who created the course is the one billed.
