DaDesktop respects the privacy of users of our services. This policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and the measures we take to ensure that your personal details are protected.

We collect and use personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our services to you, or for the legitimate purposes identified in this privacy policy. It is important to note that there are substantial differences in the collection and storage of data depending on what hosting service is selected.

NobleProg hosted public server

This is hosted within a NobleProg data centre (within the EU - GDPR compliant). It is a shared server for NobleProg clients and can be accessed by NobleProg.

If you choose a server located outside the EU, local law may apply. UK based customer data is retained in the UK.

NobleProg hosted private server

This is hosted within a NobleProg data centre (within the EU). It is a dedicated server for one organisation and no other organisation will use the hardware.

If you choose a server located outside the EU, local law may apply.

On premise server

The server will be located on the organisation’s premises. The software is installed on the server and all data remains within that organisation’s complete control.

  • To access DaDesktop, you must register an account.
  • If you choose to register for an account, you will provide us with personal data such as your name, email address, username, and password.
  • We collect this data because it is necessary to provide you with access to our services and to maintain the security of those services.
  • We may use your data to communicate with you regarding your account.
  • We retain account data for as long as your account remains active.
  • You can cancel your account at any time, and should you do so, we will remove your account data.

 

  • The client can choose to manage users themselves or request that NobleProg manage the users.
  • The server can be encrypted to prevent NobleProg from having any access.
  • No data is collected or stored.
  • NobleProg has no access.

 

Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)

  • All activity within the Training Room may be monitored by the course instructor, training management, and our technical support.
  • We provide this monitoring so that we can allocate appropriate data resources, you can receive help with problems, the instructor and management can monitor course progress, and we can ensure compliance with our Terms of Service.
  • The terms of use prohibit users from conducting any personal activities, such as using social media, financial transactions, or personal web searches.
  • The data is deleted after the course has been confirmed as ‘finished’.

 

  • All data collected and stored is managed by the client.

 

  • NobleProg has no access.

 

Video / Audio Data

  • DaDesktop can have an integrated audio/video feature.
  • This feature is provided through the NobleProg infrastructure (rather than external software).
  • Course Desktops (Fresh-start, Trainer and Participants) may be recorded for troubleshooting purposes. No audio data is recorded. These recordings are deleted 14 days after the course is complete. Only NobleProg administrators with SuperAdmin privileges have access to these recordings.
  • All data collected and stored is managed by the client.
  • Course Desktops and Recordings may, if required, be recorded for troubleshooting and other purposes (see Shared Server). These recordings are the client's responsibility, and due to the auto-delete process, they are automatically removed after 14 days.
  • No data is collected or stored.
  • NobleProg has no access.

  • Clients may choose to record the course desktop.
  • If the recording option is utilised, NobleProg stores the recording and it can be monitored. The account holder can determine when it is deleted.
  • If the account is cancelled, all applicable recordings are deleted.

  • All data collected or stored is managed by the client.
  • NobleProg has no access.

Technical Support

If you contact us for technical support, you must provide some personal data, which may include your name, your employer, email address, phone number, time zone, and the reason for requiring support. We use this support data to help resolve your issue and to better understand the types of problems our users experience. All technical support is provided internally by NobleProg.
