PC Farm (Bare metal)

In addition to our cloud solution, DaDesktop also provides access to bare metal physical Desktops or Servers.

This solution provides one physical machine per participant and has been used in the following scenarios, where participants need access to:

1. the entire server without virtualization for performance or licensing reasons (e.g., ONAP, OpenStack)
2. devices that cannot be virtualized, such as some GPUs, Mellanox cards when firmware-related changes are part of the course, other network equipment, etc.

Additionally, this solution can be used with an existing physical classroom with minimal modifications. This allows the trainer to prepare the classroom without needing to be physically present.

The Cloud Desktop used in the cloud can be deployed directly to participants' physical machines.

Requirement for onsite deployment

This solution requires the purchase of physical control cables, known as ddnexus, which cost about 100 USD per desktop.
