Unable to type certain characters (e.g., apostrophes, quotation marks, and inverted commas) on a DaDesktop machine

This is an annoying problem that rarely appears but depends on the type of physical keyboard, language layout, and internationalisation used.

This is a Windows-only issue

To fix it, follow these steps:

1. In the Windows search bar, type 'Settings'
2. Click 'Time & Language'
3. Click the language menu item on the left-hand side
4. Then under 'Preferred Languages', click on your preferred language, and then 'Options'.
5. Next, click 'Add a keyboard', and select the layout of your chosen keyboard, such as US keyboard layout
6. Remove the old keyboard layouts by clicking on them and selecting 'Remove'
7. Test by typing single quotes ('), quotation marks ("), and inverted commas (`).
