Resizing Disk, CPU, and Memory

Trainers can adjust the resources originally provisioned for the Fresh-Start Desktop.  This comes in handy when you realize that the course needs more CPU, memory, or storage to run additional programs or software.

To change these parameters, ensure the Fresh-Start desktop is stopped before you modify them.  Select the gear and choose either "Stop" or "Force-Stop".

Once the desktop is stopped, you can resize the allocated resources.  Select the gear icon and go to advanced > Resize (RAM, CPU, disk).

Once selected, the Resize form appears and you can reallocate the resources (CPU, RAM, or storage) you require for your desktop.  The form indicates the maximum amount allowed for each.

Please keep in mind that these changes will affect the price of the desktop, but it's recommended to allocate what you need for the course to run smoothly.
